export your BCH private key, and input it into a BTC wallet
they use identical cryptography which means the same private key will have the same result (unless BCASH changed something, i dont follow what they do with that shitcoin.) your bitcoin is stored on the blockchain, not the "wallet", you just keep a private key that lets you spend it. it doesnt matter how the key is generated. you can do it yourself with a pen and piece of paper
beats me how i havent seen anyone give you the correct answer yet, just goes to show the shear incompetence of people who use this sub

Hey, we are building a wallet app that allows you to generate and export private keys to exterior storage devices directly from the smartphone. In other words, create your own cold wallet with anything that can hold your encrypted private keys. The app operates only on RAM, so when you work with your keys within the app, after closing the session, all the data is erased. However, your keys always remain in the encrypted folder accessible only by you. I'm one of the founders of the project and I would really appreciate your feedback. Check us out: [bitfreezer.app]1

Bitcoin Core wallet shows larger balance than sum of all private keys exported to Electrum.

I went through my transaction history and exported the private key for every receiving address I have ever used into Electrum. The resulting balance in Electrum is only about 75% of the balance that Bitcoin Core shows. Is there any way that earlier transactions might not be showing up in my transaction history? I don't have any pending transactions.

What's the best way to export private keys from an old Bitcoin QT wallet

I have a backup of an old Bitcoin QT wallet (from 2013-ish). I know the wallet is empty, but I would still like to have a few of the private keys from it (to be able to prove that I was in possession of bitcoins at this time).
What is the best way to export a few private keys from the wallet? I'd rather not download the entire blockchain just to export a few keys.

export private key(s) from bitcoin core?

I would like to export my private key(s) from bitcoin core / bitcoin-qt, but it tells me that i need to specify my bitcoin address. how can I figure out what address(es?) i have and what they are? the ui gives me balance, pending, and total, as well as enables me to send and receive bitcoin by generating new addresses, but I can't seem to figure out what my address(es?) are so i can extract my private key(s) and hopefully claim old bitcoin gold / move my holdings to another wallet without paying to send them to another account. help please?
Thanks!
